By popular demand here are some pictures of the new Vanuatu National Library and National Archives building, as well as a couple of photos from the Opening Ceremony that took place on August 23, 2013.
Many thanks to Augustine Tevimule, Assistant Archivist of the Vanuatu National Archives, for sharing these photos!!
The design of the building was inspired by traditional Melanesian style that keeps with the design of the Vanuatu Cultural Centre, creating the Vanuatu National Cultural Council Complex. This complex is dedicated to the history and culture of Vanuatu.
