PARBICA 15 was held in Honiara, Solomon Islands from August 12-17, 2013. Over 60 delegates from across the Pacific Islands region attended the conference. The central theme of the meeting was ‘Leading Archives into the Digital Age: Personal, Professional, Institutional’.

My report from the Pacific Regional Branch International Council on Archives (PARBICA) biennial conference is now available on our Website. This was my third participation at a PARBICA meeting and it always amazes me on how much we can accomplish as a group during the quick week. You can access the report from the PARBICA Meetings tab on the main page.

My deepest thanks goes out to PARBICA, the staff at the National Archives Solomon Islands, and the Solomon Islands government for producing an outstanding conference.
