International Archives Day 2014

It’s coming, and it’s coming fast- International Archives Day on June 9, 2014. As you may recall, many archives in the Pacific Islands celebrated the day in fine fashion last year. These included archives in Samoa, Solomon Islands and Tonga- just to name a few.

The International Council on Archives (ICA) will be keeping track of festivities around the world on that day. You can check for updated information on their Webpage.

International Museum Day was a big success a couple of weeks ago and many museums throughout the Pacific Islands celebrated on that day. Hopefully, the archives in the region will be just as active and observing on June 9th. I’ll keep you posted on any activities as I hear from them.

Happy International Archives Day!
