More Festivals

If you will be traveling in Fiji in August, or Australia in October, you might want to check out these cultural events:

The Tagimoucia Festival in Tavenui, Fiji, is a celebration of Fiji’s cultural heritage, encompassing world-class local musicians, native arts, local foods, and sports. This non-profit event’s aim is to focus on increasing awareness on the impact of rubbish on the island. The festival takes place on August 24, 2013.

The Boomerang Festival occurs on the weekend of October 4-6, 2013 in Tyagarah Tea Tree Farm, Byron Bay, Australia. Some of the Pacific’s most accomplished artists and speakers will be performing at this mega-event.
